On 25 May, Guangdong Academic Degrees Committee issued the Notice of Guangdong Academic Degrees Committee on the Adjustment of Provincial Doctoral and master’s degree Awarding Units (Guangdong Academic Degrees Letter [2021] No. 3), which showed our college has been officially approved as a Guangdong Master's Degree Awarding Unit.

20 universities in Guangdong Province were approved to be the construction units for master's degree awarding, and our university is listed among them.

The approval of the University as a Guangdong Province Master's Degree Awarding Unit is the result of the strong support of the University's Board of directors, the correct leadership of President Kwong Bang-hung, and the active promotion of the educational ideology of ‘Morality and the Five-Entries’ educational practice by teachers and students. This is the fruitful result of the ‘Five-Entries’. In the next step, the university will follow the requirements of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council on the basic conditions of new master's degree units and the spirit of the Notice of the Guangdong Academic Degrees Committee on the Award of Doctoral and Master's Degrees to further enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency, increase the investment, strengthen the policy research, condense the characteristics of school, improve the conditions of management mechanism of the school, and take effective measures to rectify it. We will strive to improve the level of discipline construction.
