Major Overview

The courses of this major put heuristic teaching in the front and center, taking into account the design ability of entrepreneurship and business logic. In the era of the eyeball economy, it also assumes an important carrier for new art, new tools, new spaces and new media. Students can acquire keen design thinking, new media operations skills, teamwork and hands-on skills, and they are well prepared to learn and practice entrepreneurship across different fields.

 

Educational Goal

We aim to promote a comprehensive development of all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding with a hard-working spirit in students. It is designed to meet the needs of the international job market. We focus on cultivating students' core abilities of 'learning, application, expression, cooperation, and innovation', and implement general education, professional education, and practical innovation education. Being able to apply this professional knowledge in graphic design, decoration design, advertising design, digital design departments to engage in various designs, and to have innovative spirit, strong practical ability, executive ability and leadership skill is what we hope for our students when they leave the campus.

 

Features

1. Capability --- The adoption of Innovative design thinking and International business visual design thinking facilitated a stronger landing and applicability for brand design and commercial design of this major.

2. Marketing ability --- This major is an integration of the building and contemplating of business and branding. Advanced courses such as sales psychology, behavioral psychology, and enneagram psychological application have been added to the curriculum, incorporate “strategic thinking” in Visual Communication Design

3. Leadership --- The ability to review the team and personal development path! High-level corporate courses such as leader lP shaping, mission speech, roadshow training have been set up, so that students will continue to learn in the huge competition of innovation and entrepreneurship in the future.

4. Influence --- In order to adapt to the design language expression of the global 'post 5G' era, and keep pace with the modern business mainstream culture, elite corporate training courses such as international brand IP rapid manufacturing, corporate short video and live channels, business model design principles, financial statement analysis and investment, philosophy and values have been set up. It also helps foster international perspective and innovative and entrepreneurial abilities.

Core Curriculum: symbols and symbols, graphics and text, logos and colors, layout and layout, display and furnishings, publishing and packaging, graphics and images, branding and image, commercial illustrations.

Further studies and career development

Graduates of this program can apply for a master's degree program at domestic and foreign universities to continue their studies, or choose to work in or outside of China. Career paths mainly include graphic designers, film and television advertising post-processing, art direction, product packaging designers, clothing designers, digital media design, creative director and teaching researcher in such industries as media websites, enterprises and institutions, public relations companies, exhibitions, printing presses, and education industry. Graduates also can find employment or start their own businesses in the fields of cultural, advertising and marketing, film and television media, new media,creative industry, etc.
