Educational goal
International perspective is highlighted in the teaching of this major and the '3+1' model is adopted for the joint training with many partner universities in the UK.
Our goal is to cultivate Innovative and practical design talents who can engage in landscape design, indoor and outdoor design, and in environmental design and related fields. To have a a comprehensive development of all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding with a hard-working spirit, to have mastered professional basic theories, theoretical knowledge and professional skills in related disciplines, and to have the awareness of international design and innovative thinking, and the comprehensive application of knowledge analysis and analysis, and the ability to solve various problems encountered in the design of indoor and outdoor environments is also what we hope for our students when they leave the campus.

1. Eligible students can directly enroll in a master's degree program at a partner institution in the UK (Some overseas partner institutions do not requires portfolio)
2. Many overseas colleges and universities have signed cooperation agreements, and it is more secure and convenient to study abroad through official channels

Teaching content
Core curriculum: foreign architectural history, Chinese architectural history, residential space design, interior design principles, introduction to environmental art design, Chinese and foreign design history, environmental engineering, material science, ergonomics, interior decoration drawing, public space design, interior thematic design, Building decoration project management and budget, green environment art design
Practical courses: sketching/color sketching, interior decoration drawing training, decoration material market research, environmental design CAD comprehensive training, indoor three-dimensional renderings comprehensive training, house model making comprehensive training, living space plan design, decoration structure and construction technology comprehensive training, Indoor public space scheme design, indoor thematic scheme design
Overseas courses: Vary with majors and overseas cooperative colleges selected.
Further studies and career development
Graduates of this program can apply for a master's degree program at domestic and foreign universities to continue their studies, or choose to work in or outside of China. Career paths include real estate development companies, interior design companies, land resources and planning bureaus, architecture, environmental design institutes, convention and exhibition design companies, responsible for real estate planning and design, interior decoration design, architectural exterior decoration design, landscape design, furniture design, display design, urban planning, municipal design and other work.
