Educational goal

A 'multi-campus' learning method is employed, and international perspective is highlighted in the teaching of this major. The '2+2' model and mutual recognition of credits help to facilitate joint training with many cooperative colleges and universities in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Our goal is to cultivate professional and international application-oriented talents competent in the organization and management of international economic and trade activities, international markets development, import and export business operations, and cross-border e-commerce operations and management.

Students should systematically master the basic theories, basic knowledge and methods of economics and international economics and trade, understand and grasp the operating mechanisms and development laws of domestic and foreign economic and trade, be familiar with domestic and foreign economic and trade rules and practices, and be proficient in a foreign language and modern Information technology. To have an international perspective, a comprehensive development of all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding with a hard-working spirit, innovation and entrepreneurship, and to have developed practical abilities, communication skills, is also what we hope for our student when they leave the campus.

Teaching content

Core curriculum: Cambridge IELTS, world economy, international trade, international trade practice, foreign trade English correspondence

Overseas courses: microeconomics, basic writing, introduction to literary creation, communicative language, interdisciplinary research, statistics, library application ability, management accounting, financial management, business policy and strategy research, marketing principles, business law, business management, Business and society, business ethics, personal finance, management science.

Further studies and career development

Graduates of this program can apply for a master's degree program at domestic and foreign universities to continue their studies, or choose to work in or outside of China. Career paths include government foreign affairs offices, foreign economic and trade companies, overseas trade, international logistics companies, international finance, cross-border e-commerce operations, commercial banks, fund companies, private equity investment companies, etc.
