On May 28th, there was good news from the 2nd 3rd National Seminar on the Work of Private College Journal that Guangzhou Institute of Technology and Business Education Research won the 'Second Prize of Excellent Journal' in the 6th 'Double Excellence' Competition of the National Association of Private College Journal Research.

It is a comprehensive quarterly journal founded in 2007, published at the end of March, June, September, and December every year, with special sections on 'Virtuous Learning', 'Five Advancement', Lingnan China Culture Research, 'Applied Undergraduate Education Research', and other topics. The main columns include academic exchange, education and teaching, school construction and services, award-winning news, concentric 'battles', and evaluation and construction, etc. It is a platform for information exchange, an incubation base for cultivating new academic talents, and an important window to showcase campus culture. ‘Moral learning’is the foundation of the school, ‘five Entries’ is the talent training mode of the school, and the ‘Moral Learning - Five Entries’ is the school's characteristics and campus culture. The school newspaper has set up a research section on‘Moral Learning - Five Entries’ as a special section of the school, reflecting the school's schooling characteristics.

The editorial team has a combination of full-time and part-time editors and a team of professional reviewers. The process from review to publication of each article is a continuous process, laying the foundation for teachers to improve quality of their articles. It also a role in training new academic talent.

Under the support and guidance of the school's board of directors and school leaders, the publication has been recognized by experts and the society. In 2016, Guangzhou Industry and Commerce Academic Exploration won the first prize of excellent academic newspaper in the fourth ‘Double Excellence’ competition of the annual meeting of the National Research Association of Private College Journal; in 2017, Guangzhou Industry and Commerce Academic Exploration won the fifth 'Double Excellence' competition of the annual meeting of the National Research Association of Private College Journal. In 2017, Guangzhou Industry and Commerce Academic Exploration won the second prize of excellent academic journal in the fifth 'Double Excellence' competition of the annual meeting of the National Research Association of Private Colleges and Universities. In 2018, Guangzhou Industry and Commerce Academic Exploration was awarded as the ‘Fifth National Journal of Internal Communication of Local Universities’and the column of ‘Research on Applied Undergraduate Education’was awarded as the fifth National Characteristic Column of Local University Journal; in 2019, Guangzhou Industry and Commerce Academic Exploration was awarded as the National Excellent Social Science Internal Journal of Universities in the sixth evaluation of social science journals of universities conducted by the National Research Association of Literature and Science Journal of Universities.

The editorial department will further summarize its experience, continuously improve the quality and level of the journal, effectively play the role of a good academic exchange platform.
