Major overview

This program aims to provide Tax administration talents for The Belt and Road Initiative. It is a response to the call of taxation system reform, led by the China Certified Tax Agents Association.

Educational Goal

Based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the goal of this major is to cultivate professional application-oriented technical talents qualified to work in field of taxation, auditing, economic management departments, fiscal and taxation agencies, and in profit enterprises and non-profit organizations, who are competent in accounting, tax agency, tax planning and financial management related work. To have mastered basic knowledge in economics, management, law, computer applications and financial management, and to have developed practical skills and communication skills such as tax collection and management, corporate tax management, tax planning, accounting, financial management, and financial analysis is also what we hope for our student when they leave the campus.

1. Taxation policy changes frequently, making tax agent one of the most Short Supply Talents in China.

2. The teaching content combines the knowledge of economics, management, law and other disciplines, including tax planning, tax accountant examination and customs clearance courses, and taxation training courses. compound talents are in high demand in today’s job market.

3. The degree of overlap between the learning content of the tax accountant course and intermediate accounting practice, intermediate financial management, and intermediate economist is as high as 60%-90%, making it less difficult to obtain relevant certificates

4. In our monthly master classes, students have plenty of opportunity to receive guidance in career planning from university professors, industry directors, awarded lecturer in tax practice.

Further studies and career development

Graduates of this program can apply for a master's degree program at domestic and foreign universities to continue their studies, or choose to work in or outside of China. Graduates hold position in corporate internal audit, bank financial planning, investment company management, financial analysis, budget management, tax administration, etc.
