In order to cultivate college students with international vision, and strengthen the Ideological and Political Work in Universities issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in the afternoon of March 25, 2021, with the platform of the Academic Vision Lecture Series of the University Youth League Committee and the Student Union, Vice Dean of the International Education School, Hui Yanyan Hold a special lecture for college students entitled 'Looking up to the Stars /starry sky and putting one's feet on the ground - we cultivate the international vision'.

Yanyan Hui talked about the importance of  international competitiveness of contemporary college students,with the mission of international exchange. From the lessons of the disintegration of Yugoslavia, it was suggested that national unity is the foundation and guarantee of the stable development and prosperity of the country; from the perspective of 'only the national characteristics is the world', it is important for college students to have some understanding of the excellent Chinese traditional culture to tell a good Chinese story, spread the Chinese voice well around the world.

Over 190 college students from College of Engineering, College of Accounting, College of Management and College of International Education attended this lecture. Afterwards,they had a  more comprehensive understanding of international issues, which laid a solid foundation as they struggle to cultivate a broad international perspective.
