At 10:30 am on April 24, 2018, our school was honored to invite Dr. Thorben Hanel, Vice Dean of the Business School of the University of Sunderland, UK, and Director Zhang Ziliang, the project leader of the University of Sunderland China, to visit our school and communicate. In the academic lecture hall on the sixth floor of the Student Activity Center of Sanshui Campus, the launching ceremony of our school and the University of Sunderland’s international education project cooperation and the 'British Education and Culture' special lecture activity were solemnly held.

At the launching ceremony, Vice Dean Yi Luxia gave a welcome speech in fluent English and introduced the basic situation of the college to everyone. It is hoped that through the international education cooperation project with the University of Sunderland, the students' sense of accomplishment can be improved.

Dr. Thorben also introduced the basic situation of the University of Sunderland, and showed students the advantages of the University of Sunderland in all aspects from the geographical location of the University of Sunderland, school rankings, entrance IELTS score requirements, employment chain, etc., and Tell the students that the University of Sunderland can provide the conditions for continuous improvement and development.

With the lighting of the ceremony kick-off ball, the international education cooperation project between our school and the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom was officially launched. The shining kick-off ball also indicates that our college's international education cooperation projects will be better and better!

After the kick-off ceremony, Dr. Thorben gave a British simulation classroom lecture entitled 'On the role of technological innovation in business' to the students. He explained in detail what is the process of globalization, and through some vivid examples, let everyone deeply realize the importance of innovation and creativity in modern life.

    The event came to a close with the applause of the students. The students and teachers expressed that the format of the event was active, which also enhanced everyone's international vision, and also had a deeper understanding of the project cooperation between the two universities.
