According to the arrangement of the joint training program of Guangzhou Institute of Technology & Peking University, the first batch of four students, who were selected by the School of International Education of Guangzhou Institute of Technology and were of good character, came to Yan Yuan Garden to experience the culture and receive inculcation, where they will spend four wonderful months together with Peking University students.

Before they had time to put down their luggage, they rushed to the quaint and elegant entrance of Peking University for a group photo, from where they will enter the university and get closer to their ideal school. The moment they walk through the door will be a leap of faith in their lives, and the moment they return from their studies, the days and nights they spent at Peking University will be etched in their memories forever, and the spirit of Peking University will be spread in the campus of Guangzhou College of Commerce and Industry.

Led by Mr. Wang Yang from the School of International Relations of Peking University, the students enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the campus and exclaimed that 'the most beautiful April day on earth' is not only beautiful but also rich in humanistic atmosphere. Under the breeze, the weeping willows on the shore of Lake Wiming seemed to beckon the students, and the stone fish in the lake seemed to tell a story from a long time ago.

Mr. Wang Yang expressed his warm welcome to the students and encouraged them to make full use of the four months to learn more, see more, listen more and ask more questions, and to find opportunities to listen to courses from other faculties in addition to the scheduled courses.

Mr. Wang Yang also mentioned that the campus environment of Peking University and Guangzhou Institute of Technology would also be quite different, and that students should ask questions if they don't understand, as openness and tolerance is the spirit of Peking University, and he hoped that they would gain knowledge, friendship and happiness at Peking University. Mr Wang Yang, the class teacher, gave a detailed introduction on the precautions to be taken and the arrangements for the course, study and living.
